The COVID-19 pandemic prevented the 2020 Festival of Town Pipers from going ahead. The following year, with restrictions still in force, a determined subset of players decided to at least create a virtual version of The Great Noyse – the joyous session where all the assembled bands of waits play together. This video is the result.
