A day in the life of a great weight

A Great York Wait

July 16th

I had my breakfast and took my instrument down to meet my friends the great Yorkshire weights.

We all got our music and went on the streets guarding the walls we played our music and we where walking and a woman some scraps out of the window and they landed on our heads so we went home. We got something to eat. We had meat and milk for our tea then we whent back on the streets doing our important job I used a crumhorn.

We couldn’t use string instrument be cause you couldn’t here them outside.
